On a beautiful spring day, a family was born anew with the birth of their first child. Although daunted by the idea of birth, this mama was well prepared and equipped to deliver her child earth side. She listened her her body so well, gave herself over completely to its wisdom, and advocated for herself and her journey like she’d done it a dozen times before. We all stood in amazement, feeling honored to be there to witness her strength, offering whatever support we could. Then overflowing with joy at the arrival of their son, Roman.
